The event
World-class judo
on a Valencian tatami
Stage Judo València brings judoka of every age onto the same tatami as a legend of international judo. The second edition welcomes Joshiro Maruyama: two-time world champion, now fully devoted to teaching.
An intensive camp for adults and children of all levels, organised by Club Esportiu València Grao together with DAITO and the Valencian Judo Federation, supported by the leading Valencian sports institutions.

JOSHIRO MARUYAMA
One of the finest −66 kg judoka of recent history and, alongside Hifumi Abe, the protagonist of the most famous rivalry in Japanese judo. Now retired from competition, he devotes his judo to teaching and international seminars.

2025 · The Ryunosuke Haga camp
The first edition (5–6 December 2025) filled the Valencia High Performance Centre to train with Ryunosuke Haga, −100 kg world champion and Olympic bronze medallist in Rio 2016. The bar was set high — in 2027 Maruyama raises it.
